•  How do we use ApexScribe's medical transcription service?
This is very easy and simple. Just click on Sign-up that will take you to the Registration Form. It will only take a few minutes to complete the Registration Form and to submit it. One of our Customer Service Representatives will contact you within 24 hours to gather additional information if required and get you started.

•  Does ApexScribe check the quality of the medical transcripts?
Yes! Each medical transcript goes through three levels of review prior to deliver to our client. The quality control department is managed by Quality Controllers (QCs) who are Medical Transcriptionists with at least three years of experience.
             
Our QCs strive hard to deliver a quality transcript to our clients. However, there could be an occasional unresolved blank in a report and it is usually a local term, name or place. Our QCs do their best to resolve blanks, but occasionally they are not successful. Any unresolved blank will be noted on the transcript so our client can review the specific report prior to printing or storage. These unresolved blanks normally decrease as our transcriptionists and QCs get acquainted to our client's requirements.

•  Can ApexScribe transcribe using our existing format?

•  Can ApexScribe design templates?
Yes! We can design templates that best suit your requirements. Contact our Customer Service Representative who will be glad to help you in this regard.

•  What word processing software does ApexScribe use to transcribe dictations?
We use Word to transcribe the dictations. However, we are open to delivering transcripts that are compatible with your word processors.

•  How soon can a medical transcript be completed and delivered to our office?
In all circumstances, we strive to deliver the completed transcripts within 24 hours. However, we understand the need for transcripts on STAT basis and are well equipped to deliver the completed transcripts well within four hours with advance notice.

•  How much does ApexScribe charge their clients?
We provide a very simple line based cost model. The total numbers of lines in a transcript are multiplied by the cost per line to arrive at the total cost of the transcript. Please contact us for more pricing information.

•  How does ApexScribe define a line?
Our software calculates the total number of lines in a transcript and generates an invoice. We are more than willing to demonstrate this software to our clients to help them understand and audit our invoicing system.

•  How much does ApexScribe charge for STAT jobs?
For STAT jobs, a $0.03 (Three Cent) surcharge is added to the normal per line transcription cost. Any job with less than 12-hour turnaround time shall be treated as a STAT job.

•  How frequently does ApexScribe bill their clients?
We prefer to invoice our clients at the end of each month. We prefer to charge your credit card which we keep on file after we've given you time to review your invoice.
