Toll-free Telephone Dictation

ApexScribe maintains a toll-free telephone dictation number, on which physicians and other clinicians can quickly begin using ApexScribe without any special equipment. ApexScribe can customize this single number to accommodate multiple practice locations, separating billing and document delivery for each location. The telephone menu is intuitively designed and simple to use.

Handheld Dictation

ApexScribe offers several options for handheld dictation. The most popular are Olympus digital recorders. Olympus handheld dictation devices are inexpensive and deliver the flexibility of wireless dictation. ApexScribe also offers Palm or Windows CE PDA alternatives.

ApexScribe's web-based MT (Medical Transcription) platform is a state of the art system for centralized, streamlined, cost effective management of all aspects of transcription production accessible to decentralized workers anywhere, anytime worldwide. It delivers unparalleled flexibility in workflow in a secure manner.

In addition, we will craft a solution that delivers your documents as you have predetermined. Personalized formats for each type of note as well as standard macros for repetitive phrases are available for individual physicians. Finally, with our complete integration with Microsoft Word, letterheads and advanced formatting are a snap.

Overview - Document Delivery System

Experienced transcriptionists, who are working around the clock, retrieve your secure, encrypted voice files from our server via the Internet. After the reports are typed they are reviewed by our quality assurance staff, then re-encrypted and returned directly to your desktop via our Auto FTP (File Transfer Protocol) application. We can also send your documents to the www.apexscribe.com portal or through email or fax, which ever you prefer.

Our web portal is accessible by doctors and their staff through the Internet. Administrative staff from the office can log into the portal, review and print transcripts, and even listen to the voice files that the doctor dictated.

Quality Control

Each medical transcript goes through three levels of review prior to being delivered to our client. The quality control department is managed by Quality Controllers (QCs) who are Medical Transcriptionists with at least three years of experience
